Membership in the Wyoming Public Health Association affords an opportunity for individuals working in or otherwise interested in public health the ability to network, develop relationships, craft policy, and help shape the future of public health in the State of Wyoming. Each member in good standing is entitled to one vote on each matter submitted to a vote of the membership, excepting Agency members, who are not entitled to vote. All members in good standing may run for any vacant office on the Board of Directors, and may volunteer to serve on one or more of WPHA's standing or ad hoc Committees. Members receive regular communication updates from WPHA, and enjoy a discounted registration fee to attend WPHA's Annual Educational Conference.
WPHA currently offers the following four categories of membership:
I ndividual membership is open to any person who is professionally engaged in or is otherwise interested in the mission and objectives of this Association. Dues are $30.00 per year for Individual members.
Sponsoring membership is open to those persons who, in addition to meeting the eligibility for Individual membership, wish to make additional financial contributions to support the mission and objectives of the Association. Dues are $60.00 per year for Sponsoring members.
Student/Retired membership is open to any person who is eligible for Individual membership, and is either enrolled as a full-time student or is retired from full-time employment. Dues are $15.00 per year for Student/Retired members.
Agency membership is open to an agency, association, firm, corporation, or other organization that is engaged in or otherwise interested in supporting the mission and objectives of this Association. Agency memberships DO NOT entitle any individual, agent, officer, director, or employee of the Agency to the benefits and privileges of an Individual membership, including the right to vote, run for office, and receive discounted conference registration. Dues are $150.00 per year for Agency members.
